The 11th International Drama Education Application and Cooperation Congress (IDEAC) and IDEA Asia-Pacific Forum happened on December 26-29 2025 at the Central Academy of Drama’s Changping Campus, convening drama educators, researchers, and artists from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to examine innovative approaches to drama education in schools and communities.
Themed “Drama Education in Curriculum Reform: Pathways and Practices,” the congress featured keynote addresses, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and live classroom demonstrations. Program highlights included sessions on puppetry in education, drama for developing core competencies, interdisciplinary learning, and theatre’s role in fostering creativity and social-emotional development.
The event drew prominent speakers including Sanja Krsmanović Tasić, President of the International Drama/Theatre and Education Association (IDEA); David Glass from the United Kingdom; Cariad Ann Astles of UNIMA (International Union of Puppetry); and Ivica Simić from Croatia, alongside leading Chinese scholars and practitioners in the field.
The congress also marked the formal launch of two collaborative initiatives: the IDEAC Higher Education Drama Educators Alliance and the Drama Education Practice Base program, designed to strengthen partnerships among universities, schools, and cultural institutions.
Now in its eleventh year, IDEAC has established itself as a cornerstone platform for advancing drama education in China while facilitating substantive dialogue and cooperation between Chinese and international drama education communities, advancing both innovation and practice in the field.

京城盛会：2025年IDEA/IDEAC大会回顾
2025年12月26日，2025年IDEA亚太论坛暨第十一届IDEAC国际戏剧教育应用与合作大会在北京中央戏剧学院隆重开幕。本次活动汇聚了来自亚洲及全球各地的戏剧教育工作者、研究者和艺术家，共同探索戏剧教育在学校与社区中的创新实践路径。
大会以课程改革中的戏剧教育：路径与实践为主题，设置了主题演讲、实践工作坊、专题研讨及课堂实景展示等环节。重点议题涵盖偶戏在教育中的应用、戏剧与核心素养培育、跨学科学习，以及戏剧在激发创造力与促进社会情感发展中的作用。
演讲嘉宾包括桑雅·科斯马诺维奇·塔西奇（IDEA国际戏剧/剧场与教育联盟主席）、大卫·格拉斯（英国）、卡里亚德·安·阿斯特尔斯（国际木偶戏联合会副主席）和伊维萨·西米奇（克罗地亚），以及多位中国知名学者与实践专家。大会还正式启动了”IDEAC高校戏剧教育工作者联盟”与 “戏剧教育实践基地”两项合作倡议，旨在加强高校、中小学与文化机构之间的协同合作。
此次活动不仅是IDEAC在中国深耕戏剧教育十一年来的重要里程碑，也为中外戏剧教育工作者搭建了一个高质量的对话协作平台，必将推动戏剧教育在新时代持续创新发展。
