IDEA ONLINE
Organized by the IDEA Online Working Group, IDEA Online is a series of online activities, giving an opportunity for IDEA members to gather through Online platforms, learn from each other and also to discuss, demonstrate or witness important and significant research, documents or practices in our field. The main forms of Online events defined by the group are:
IDEA WEBINARS: A webinar, short for “web based seminar”, is an online presentation, meeting, or workshop that allows individuals or groups to interact in real time.
IDEA FORUMS are a place for dialogue, trust building and members engagement for practicing online democracy, where the voices of the members can be heard, a space for rethinking in an open and creative way about different themes as well as the functioning of our association, or what needs to be done in the future. They are also a place for evaluating or preparing the General Council meetings. Usually moderated by members of the IDEA Online group, with a short introduction about the topic to be discussed at the beginning.
WORKSHOPS under the joint title: Sharing IDEAs, are a place where IDEA members generously share with each other their knowledge, skills and expertise in the field of drama/theatre and education, or on some similar topic.
The online activities of IDEA started shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic, and intensified during 2020 and 2021. up to now, with monthly events. All the sessions allow attendance via Zoom link, and are streamed on IDEA Facebook page, and later uploaded to IDEA’s Youtube channel.
